Company description
We are responsible for discovering, permitting and constructing the largest gold mine in Colombia and ultimately, selling the company to Zijin Mining for approximately C$2 billion (EV). The ex-Continental Gold team has since been reunited to form Collective Mining.
We are a highly experienced team with a strong track record of operating in Colombia. We have established a proven model of working with all levels of government and local communities, as well as with all components of the supply chain.
While adhering to a principled approach towards the environment, sustainability and governance, we aim to work hand-in-hand with all stakeholders for a mutually beneficial future.
The Company is rapidly advancing exploration on large-scale copper-gold porphyry systems and porphyry-related breccia and vein systems, in the mining-friendly department of Caldas in Colombia. With four significant grassroot discoveries already made, the Company’s fully-funded drill program will seek to continue to expand these discoveries while also testing new targets. Assay results from drilling will be released regularly throughout 2024.
