Griffin Mining Ltd.
Griffin has been a leader in foreign investment in mining in China since 1997, having acquired, developed and operated since 2005 the Caijiaying Zinc Gold Mine, whilst investigating and exploring for minerals elsewhere in China. The project area has 8.1 square kilometres of mining and exploration tenements, including the mine and processing facilities. It is located approximately 250 kilometres by road, north-west of Beijing in the Hebei Province in the People’s Republic of China. Currently is Zone III mined with mineralisation open at depth and in all directions. The CAIJIAYING MINE received the Mining licence over Zone II (adjacent to Zone III) which will enable significant organic growth and increases the throughput to 1.5Mt per annum. In addition comes a further potential resource increase as seven zones of mineralisation were identified. The orebody has a simple metallurgically with clean concentrates produced. The mine is connected to grid power, broadband, telecommunications, large water resources, mild weather and gentle terrain. All metals in concentrate are sold via a three stage auction process with cash in advance before concentrate is released to buyer. Griffin has a Cooperation agreement for regional exploration with a JV partner for exploration at Sangongdi and Shitouhulun.
