Meridian Mining is a UK based development mining company listed on the TSX under the symbol MNO. And in Frankfurt under the symbol 2MM. The Cabaçal deposit is a potential open-pit standalone project in Brazil and the Mineralization extends over ~ 2km and remains open with near mine satellite prospects. The  Preliminary Economic Assessment (Base Case After-Tax) showed and NPV(5%) of 573 Mio USD and an IRR of 58.4%! The predefined Copper-Gold-Silver VMS mineralization with high-grade gold overprint shows an 11km mine corridor. The licenses cover 50km of the 55km VMS belt and host two previous selective high grade underground mines.

Brazil is a Tier 1 mining jurisdiction, with recent M&A for Copper and Gold assets.
