Investors should think long-term. You have to be able to ride out a certain amount of volatility. In the longer term, investors who are involved in gold or gold mining stocks are likely to be among the winners. Gold is everlasting and always worth investing in because it retains its value. If it should go down in price, then these are entry prices that should be taken advantage of. Looking at the seasonality, the best phase for the gold price comes in June or July.
In the first three quarters of 2020, there was a record inflow into gold ETFs. This was around 1,000 tons of gold. Weaknesses were in gold jewelry demand, this dragged on all last year. But a recovery in demand in the jewelry sector is generally expected. Especially in India and China a pent-up demand should start, which will swallow up large quantities of gold. Here, for example, postponed weddings and the associated gold gifts will have an impact.
Incidentally, if you want to protect your assets, you can't avoid gold and silver investments. At best, one does not enter in times of crisis, but independently secures the value preservation vehicle precious metals. The damage caused by the corona crisis is still uncertain, but it is there and will keep us and governments busy for a long time to come. Gold mining stocks should have particular potential, as they have often not yet followed the gold price trend. Gold companies in particular, which are not heavyweights in the industry, could present great opportunities, but also honestly risks. These include gold producers Karora Resources and Fiore Gold, for example.
Karora Resources - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GXhVJhXl3G4 - expects to produce up to 115,000 ounces of gold at its Higginsville and Beta Hunt properties in Western Australia this year, with low overall production costs.
Fiore Gold - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QFmOJyVxYSw - is successfully extracting gold from its Pan Mine in Nevada. At the nearby Gold Rock project, the exploration program is ongoing, and resources have been expanded.
