Hedging with gold - Wyoming leads the way

Already last year the taxes on gold and silver in Wyoming were abolished. Now ten percent of Wyoming's stabilisation reserve account is to be held in gold and silver.

The Permanent Wyoming Mineral Trust Fund (PWMTF) is the oldest and largest fund in the state of Wyoming and weighs around 8.1 billion US dollars. The fund is responsible for the costs of the state enterprise and is at the same time a foundation that is to preserve the assets for future generations. The reason why at least ten percent of the fund should consist of gold and silver is because of the hedging. The aim is to hedge against the risk of holding stocks, bonds and short-term debt securities.

Wyoming is economically heavily dependent on commodity prices. Future generations are to be protected from strong fluctuations. Because Wyoming had suffered severe investment losses in recent months in particular.

There are more and more states that abolish the taxation of precious metals and treat them more like money. Gold and silver, now regarded as legal tender, can thus trick the money monopoly of the Federal Reserve. Basically, the inhabitants of Wyoming can use it to secure the purchasing power of their money. And the renunciation of taxes on the sale of gold and silver reduces the investment costs in precious metals.

If you want to bet on gold with a lever, you can do so with the shares of gold companies that are well positioned. For example Maple Gold or TerraX Minerals.

Maple Gold - https://www.commodity-tv.net/c/search_adv/?v=298484 - owns 100% of the Douay gold project (approximately 389 square kilometres) in the Abitibi Greenstone Belt of Quebec. Currently, the inferred resource is just under 2.8 million ounces and the indicated resource is an additional nearly 500,000 ounces of gold. An extension is still open in several directions.

TerraX Minerals - https://www.commodity-tv.net/c/search_adv/?v=298811 - is located in the Canadian Northwest Territories with its Yellowknife City gold project, as is Maple Gold in one of the best gold districts. Up to 63 grams of gold per ton of rock have already been identified.

Current corporate information and news releases from Maple Gold (https://www.resource-capital.ch/en/companies/maple-gold-mines-ltd.html) and TerraX Minerals (https://www.resource-capital.ch/en/companies/terrax-minerals-inc.html).
