Win or lose - that is the question here.

The rise in inflation does not seem to cause any distress to German citizens. But it should, because savers lose compared to investors

Inflation has not been as high as it is now for ten years, but German savers don't seem to care much about it. According to the Federal Statistical Office, consumer prices in November were 2.3 percent higher than in November 2017, with energy prices in particular having to be apportioned around 9.3 percent more in November 2018 than a year ago. But this might have noticed everyone at the gas station or with the purchase of fuel oil.

Inflation of 2.5 per cent in October 2018 was the highest since September 2008, and in November just behind us it struck at 2.1 per cent. Despite this development, more than 2.2 trillion euros will slumber in overnight money or checking accounts in 2018. And it is not only the lack of interest income that could make up for inflation, but the savings are becoming worth less and less - at an inflation of two or more percent.

This creeping loss of money should be seen before one's eyes and then one should try to counteract it. Saving is counterproductive for wealth accumulation. This is where investment opportunities with shares of gold companies come into play. Because only investments on the capital market can counter the loss of assets.

In the case of the gold companies, the quality of the projects, the management and the financial situation, among other things, must be taken into account. US Gold or White Gold, for example, meet these requirements.

US Gold - https://www.commodity-tv.net/c/search_adv/?v=298678 - has a portfolio of gold development and exploration projects in the USA. The company's Keystone project is located on the famous Cortez trend in Nevada, where neighbor Barrick Gold has already made a successful discovery.

White Gold - https://www.commodity-tv.net/c/search_adv/?v=298689 - owns over 420,000 hectares of best gold land in the White Gold District of the Yukon, a known gold area. Extremely high gold contents of up to almost 131 grams of gold and up to 400 grams of silver per ton of rock are something special.
