Energy and food - uranium and potash

Potash , Uranium

The world's demand for electricity is growing, as is the demand for food.

The world's population continues to grow, digitalization and technologization are on the rise. Data centers are being built that will consume huge amounts of electricity and artificial intelligence is on a triumphal march. This can be seen in the investments made by technology companies, such as Microsoft, in safeguarding nuclear energy. Renewable energies are nice, but they are not enough. Nuclear technology can even help detect food fraud, for example in the area of expensive foods such as certain types of coffee, manuka honey, seafood, truffles or olive oil. Nuclear scientists from the International Atomic Energy Agency work together with food and agricultural organizations of the United Nations. Nuclear techniques make it possible to check the accuracy of food labels. The chemical identity of each element is defined by its atomic composition. Authenticity, adulteration and the origin of high-quality foods can thus be determined. And there are fraud scenarios in the food sector all over the world.

There is no doubt that the demand for uranium will increase due to the current renaissance of nuclear power. It is not only the USA that wants to boost domestic uranium production in order to avoid dependency.

Premier American Uranium - https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/premier-american-uranium-inc/ - specializes in uranium properties in the USA. The focus is on Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico, which are excellent uranium regions. Global agriculture relies heavily on fertilizers such as potash to provide people with food. Potash fertilizers improve water retention, plant health and resistance to disease.

Potash is the business of Millennial Potash - https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/millennial-potash-corp/ . Its potash project is located in Gabon, Africa. The country is mining-friendly, infrastructure is in place and major customers such as Brazil, India and China are nearby.
