It is known that fly larvae are used as fish feed, but researchers are now experimenting with their use in detergents, cosmetics or lubricants. The German Biomass Research Centre hopes to use the fats and proteins of the flies for industrial purposes. For example, lubricants based on mineral oil are not the best for the environment.
Insect biomass instead of palm oil, that would be something. Thus the so-called "black soldier flies" are bred for research purposes. They shine with rapid growth and cannot transmit diseases. Innovations also set milestones in the food sector. Not only the components, but also the treatment of materials is important.
One could think of EnWave - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hVSI-SRl4m4 - here. The company is on course for success with a patented and innovative technology for dewatering organic materials. Not only the food industry (Nestle, Kellogg´s, Bonduelle etc.) is a customer of EnWave, but also the pharmaceutical industry (for example the Merck group) and the producers of legal cannabis. EnWave has concluded more than 30 license agreements to date.
When it comes to climate protection and CO2 emissions, we are talking about electric mobility and lithium-ion batteries. These can be found in more and more products. Be it garden tools such as hedge trimmers or vacuum cleaners, mowing and vacuuming robots - they all help with the necessary work wirelessly. Today there are the batteries in almost all areas of life, recent example from the media are the e-scooters. Because without them there is no electric mobility.
Lithium is therefore an important raw material. Millennial Lithium - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fSzruj6HQPY in its Pastos Grandes Lithium Project in the heart of the lithium triangle in Argentina. A 40-year life of the mine and best battery quality should ensure the success of the project.
