Gold of Asteroids
Whether gold, silver and other minerals from outer space will be mined during our lifetime is still written in the stars, but the dream exists
Today, 13 states are flying into orbit and the number of private space companies, mainly from China and the USA, is increasing. Today many experts agree that gold came from space to earth a long time ago through asteroids. These are regarded as the source of the gold deposits. And there are already companies that are seriously looking into the possibilities of mining valuable minerals on asteroids.
For 2021, NASA is planning a manned mission that will land on an asteroid and explore mining techniques. In the near future, there is agreement that mining in space is not yet to be expected. This should go on for decades, at least. One problem will be profitability.
There is also research in Japan as to whether it is possible to travel from Earth to orbit with a kind of elevator. Here Frank Schätzings novel "Limit" is recommended, in which the elevator into space already exists in the year 2025. Suitable materials still seem to be lacking.
As long as the extraction of raw materials on the moon or on asteroids is still a dream, the focus will be on conventional mining. This is where Nordic Gold is popular. Since the first gold pouring at its Laiva mine in Finland in late November 2018, more than 4,100 ounces of gold have been produced to date. According to Nordic Gold CEO Michael Hepworth - https://www.commodity-tv.net/c/search_adv/?v=298724, production will be ramped up in the coming months. Optimum performance should then be achieved in a few months.
US Gold - https://www.commodity-tv.net/c/search_adv/?v=298802 - is a gold company with exploration and development projects in the USA. The aim is to start production as soon as possible. Of particular importance are the Copper King project in Wyoming and the Keystone project in Nevada. The latter is in line with the Cortez gold trend, which has produced many millions of ounces of gold over the last 50 years.
