The USA need uranium

Therefore, no duty is now levied on US uranium imports. Uranium stocks outside the USA then recorded growth. Only two percent of the uranium required comes from American uranium mines. The USA accounts for around 30 percent of global consumption.
There are currently 97 nuclear reactors in the USA connected to the electricity grid. Among the European countries, France has the largest number of reactors. The number of nuclear power plants is growing the fastest in China. Around 55 nuclear power plants are being built worldwide. In China, 45 reactors are currently in operation and a further 11 are under construction.
In 2018, about ten percent less uranium came from the world's uranium mines, or 137 million pounds of uranium. In 2019, for example, the total supply will fall by around 8.5 percent.
