Summa Silver Corp.
Summa Silver is listed on under the symbol SSVR on the CSE and in Frankfurt under the symbol 48X. Discovered in 1900, Tonopah quickly became known as the Queen of the Silver Camps. Over the next months and years, people from all over the country rushed to Nevada in hopes of making their fortunes. Over the next half century, the Tonopah district produced 175 million ounces of silver and 1.86 million ounces of gold from 8.8 million tons of rock.
The Belmont Mine was one of the largest producers in America in the 1910’s and produced 36.7 Mio ounces Silver and 428,000 ounces gold from 2.1 Mio tons of rock out of a 460 m shaft and tens of miles of underground development. It was not commercially operational since 1929 and the Belmont vein is up to 15m wide. There was no modern assessment of the remaining potential and the veins are offset by a fault zone and lost. Lots of potential for Summa Silver!
