Today, many ghost towns in Nevada's hinterland bear witness to the gold and silver rush of days gone by. For in 1859 silver was found in Nevada. Some of the beautiful ghost towns are still inhabited today. Today mining is one of the most important economic factors besides tourism and livestock farming. And the laws in Nevada are very mining friendly.
In 1904, gold was discovered in Nevada in the Bullfrog Hills, five years into the gold rush.
One company that is now focused on gold and silver in Nevada is Corvus Gold. - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x-rGASHnr4k&t=16s - Its North Bullfrog and Mother Lode projects have already produced good drill results. On the Mother Lode property in the East Bullfrog Mining District, Corvus has just reported excellent values (including 12.2 metres of 4.88 grams of gold per tonne rock) from the Lynnda Strip discovery.
Fiore Gold - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pkBMHKISOTE&t=6s - is already a producer in Nevada. The Pan property has been producing again since 2017 and production is increasing annually. Recent drill results have returned approximately 50 metres of 2.17 grams of gold per tonne of rock. Fiore Gold's second project, the Gold Rock Project, is located nearby, only eight kilometers away in White Pine County. The two mines are estimated to yield in excess of 100,000 ounces of gold per year. A timely start of production could follow.
So Nevada is still a very good place for gold companies and one can be curious about further research results.
