The Congo and Cobalt
Cobalt is a key raw material for the production of battery batteries, thus also for electric mobility and for wind and solar energy.

Cobalt is regarded as one of the most important raw materials of the future. Electric vehicles and energy storage systems cannot do without cobalt. Most of the cobalt comes from the Democratic Republic of Congo. In the capital Kinshasa there are businessmen, also from the USA, who hope to be able to cooperate with the administration and to get involved in the lucrative cobalt business.
But it is not an easy country to do business in, there is no real government. A prime minister was recently appointed, but the cabinet is still missing. Citizens lack basic freedoms, corruption and rebel groups are the order of the day. A fresh start would be necessary so that investors could strengthen the mining industry, which is so important for the country.
It is therefore all the more advantageous if societies own cobalt that is not on Congolese soil. First Cobalt, for example, located in North America, owns the only approved primary cobalt refinery in Ontario, North America. Idaho is home to First Cobalt's main cobalt project, the Iron Creek cobalt project - http://www.commodity-tv.net/c/search_adv/?v=298892, for which an inferred mineral resource estimate is available.
M2Cobalt - http://www.commodity-tv.net/c/search_adv/?v=298911 -is focused on the discovery and development of cobalt properties in Uganda, East Africa. The Company's licenses cover nearly 2,500 square kilometres of promising land in mineral-rich areas of Uganda. The geology is similar to that of neighbouring Congo, but the political conditions are much better.
